Obama might seem like a weak candidate but all the strong potential Republican candidates chose to wait four years and no go up against an incumbent.Blindfolded Monkeyhttp://www.blindfoldedmonkey.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3208194643616609700.post-14689418732677659842012-01-25T10:09:27.303-05:002012-01-25T10:09:27.303-05:00I've been reading a lot of blogs and forums re...I've been reading a lot of blogs and forums recently and there are a lot of people mad at the Republican establishment. Last year at this time I was terrified that no one that would get any kind of mainstream attention was running for president. Not a single man who said what needed to be said, stood on his principles, never backed down, didn't have bodies in the closet, and the people could relate to him. Every single candidate that got media attention was part of the establishment, and the one guy who wasn't got completely lambasted or ignored by the establishment.

The problem is not our media, our establishment, or the candidates; our problem is the people. The people for the last 50 or so years have refused to educate themselves about the workings of Washington, have refused to research the people they vote into office, refuse to get mad and get involved. Instead, they care more about what is on TV, what gossip is floating around, what their favorite sports team is doing . . . all worthless endeavors when the country is burning down around them.

As far as I'm concerned the establishment on both sides is just as corrupt and useless as the other. And until the people stop playing this political game along with our politicians then nothing will be fixed. The people of this country have always fixed the problem, not the government which is just run by the establishment of the day!!!

BTW, I'm 30, and my friends my age and younger are pissed at both sides. We tired of being abused and raped by both sides who are simply using us a pawns. The solution will come from my generation!Bill of Rightshttp://thenewamericanspirit.com/bill_of_rights_history/noreply@blogger.com
